Happy birthday! I can't believe all the growth and changes we've seen this year! You attended preschool this year, which was hard for both of us! Being apart is not something we are good at and neither of us like it. You went to 3 year preschool, mostly because Grandma Poulsen was teaching and in Alamo there is not much to do! You were the youngest and we k ES that we wanted to have you in the class next year, but a little extra play/school was good for you too. You had hard learning to share but once you mastered that you made friends very easily. You are very smart and like to learn, especially reading, math sorting, blocks and building, counting and using your imagination. You also did great with your colors, and taught Grandma and your class the signs that go with them! You got pretty good about staying on your own, but Mommy was always the first one there to pick you up! We've also had to get use to Mommy working part time as a sub. During the school year you would beg me not to go and cling to me when I had too. Hardest thing ever is being apart! It's good for you to be with Daddy more and lots of those days you were, or Grammy would come play with you which you like too. You have continued to be very athletic and love to run, kick, bat and play most any game outside. You also love your superhero guys and know everyone of them, there powers and there secrecy identity! You have tons of them and we play all the time. We've been doing lots of fun learning activities at home too. You love to get creative and make art projects or crafts with me! Mommy loves it too! You tell the best stories and like to tell us about your work, which is very similar to Daddy's! The kids at your work are crazy and do some odd things that you would be in trouble for, but if you do it at your work that makes okay I guess?!? You eat lots of things there too, so you know you don't like them and can get out of trying them here! You love to visit Daddy at the ranch and see all the Animals. You love animals especially Dex, but they kill your allergies. Your asthma is usually under control, but when it acts up it is so scary and really worries us. Thankfully that does not happen too often.
Trysten you are one amazing little boy! You are so sweet and kind. You have been such a huge help to me this year. I have been really struggling with a lot of pain from my endometriosis and you have really helped me through it. You know how to help me when I have trouble walking, you know where the "hot thing" (rice pack) is and can get it out of the microwave if I put it In. Your sweet little hand will hold mine or pat my face or hair when I cry. I feel terrible that you have to learned to deal with these things at such a young age, but I know that you are and will continue to learn from these challenges we face, together. Tryst I love you so much, I hope you know that everyday! Without any doubt, your mommy loves you and is proud of you and will forever be there! i am far from perfect and lots of days I go to bed feeling bad that we didn't get to all of things I would have loved to have everyday! But I hope you will remember all those amazing days we spent together, they are the best ones of my life! Each year I spend with you I grow to love you more, and I honored that ingot to be the one you choose to call Mommy. I am looking forward to seeing you learn and trekker this year and for your entire life. No matter where this life takes us know that I love you and will always be there.
All my love son, Mommy
